Introducing the Humble & Fume Inc. Mentorship Program
Together, we can reduce barriers and make the cannabis industry a more equitable place.
As an industry leader, we believe in the importance of fostering an inclusive community that advocates for justice and equal opportunities for all. Because of this shared passion for representation, the humble+ Social Awareness Committee was created as a part of Humble & Fume Inc (Humble) in 2020.
humble+ Social Awareness Committee's Mission
Grounded in principles for racial equality and accountability, our mission is driven to impact the lives of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour by acting for positive and lasting change. By educating ourselves on inclusion, diversity, and equality, focusing on the cannabis industry, we will encourage and maintain dialogue in the workplace and community, expand our training, learning, and development while using our brand and voice to advocate for change.
What We're Doing to Become a Better Ally
With a mission in mind, Humble set out to find like-minded organizations with socially conscious goals that impact marginalized communities within the cannabis industry. We believe there needs to be more awareness and support within the unique sector to better advocate for social equity and representation.
Humble's Mentorship Program
We are seeking mutually beneficial partnerships with non-profits and other organizations and companies to develop objectives, proposals, and ideas to help one another become better allies with the cannabis, smoke shop and related industries. Through Humble's Mentorship Program, we hope to impact the cannabis industry and the world positively.
How to Make a Difference in the Cannabis Community
Humble has aligned with the National Diversity & Inclusion Cannabis Alliance (NDICA) to share expertise and guidance. We have proudly created a mentorship program as advocates for an ethical and equitable cannabis industry. We will provide BIPOC entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their talents, products, and enthusiasm for the ever-evolving and ever-important cannabis industry.
NDICA's Mission
NDICA is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to create an ethical and equitable cannabis industry to reduce barriers contributing to the lack of representation of those most impacted by the War on Drugs, including people of color and other marginalized community members.
Local Chapter locations include Los Angeles, Fresno, Chicago, Oklahoma City, and Columbus. NDICA offers several essential programs, including Community Outreach, Education, Internships, Social Equity Programs, Vocational Training, and Youth Empowerment and Educational Programs.
We will also offer a selected business the opportunity to participate in the upcoming Winter/Spring 2022 industry tradeshows as an exhibitor with a dedicated, branded vendor booth and product distribution support.
