In a couple of weeks, the team at humble+fume will be exhibiting at the largest cannabis conference in the world, ‘ MJ BIZ Conference.’ MJBizCon is an opportunity for cannabis professionals from all over the world to connect and develop meaningful business relationships in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The conference plays host to 20,000 professionals and over 1000 different exhibitors. These numbers may seem daunting as an attendee, so it’s essential to have a plan and stick to it. For us to properly prepare we wanted to put forth an overview of what you can expect from humble+fume, how you can get in touch with us, and a few tips that will help you succeed at MJBizCon.

How to have a successful MJBizCon in Las Vegas?

As we mentioned, MJBizCon will play host to 1000 different exhibitors, so it’s unlikely you will be able to have meaningful conversations with everyone. Here are our top 3 tips to having a successful show!

1. Make a Priority List. Luckily, the hosts have provided an interactive floor map of the exhibit. Our advice, take a look through the floor map and make a list of your priority targets. This way you won’t miss anyone important!
2. Set Meetings in Advance. If you want to come out on top, reach out in advance to people from companies on your list and try to set up a short introduction. It’s always more effective than showing up at their booth and hoping to find the right person.
3. Keep an open mind. Don’t be afraid to spark up conversations with other attendees walking the exhibit floor. Everyone is at MJBizCon to learn and grow their business, and you never know whom you might bump into so it’s important to keep smiling and open to new ideas.

Bonus: Hydrate. It’s the desert remember! You’re going to spend three straight days on your feet, speaking to various people, and maybe even enjoying a few cocktails. Don’t forget to drink some water!
